5 Back to School (Style) Must Haves

Since it’s back to school season as part of a sponsored post for Collective Bias®  and Sears we put together our 5 Back to School style must haves.

We recently did a back to school (BTS) run to Sears to see if we could find our 5 style must haves. You can see our whole shopping trip on a Google + album HERE. We actually had fun digging through clothes to find styles and prices that fit for all of us.

I have always tried to give my boys freedom to choose clothes that fit their own personal style. It definitely changes over time! No matter what their style though, my BTS must have #1 is jeans with a good cut.

Each of my boys are different so we need different jeans for each of them.

We always have issues finding jeans that fit well in a cut that they want to wear. We actually found pairs for BOTH boys at Sears. We want our jeans to be cut well, have a good wash, be comfortable and to last until they grow out of them. We fell in love with Levi’s 510 and 511

My oldest is wearing the Levi’s 511 – Skinny (sits below waist, skinny fit, slim leg). I always love Levi’s attention to stitching.

My little guy is wearing Levi’s 510 Skinny (skinny leg, slim fit, sits below waist) They bunch a bit at the waist (haven’t found a pair that doesn’t) but not much and they fit well everywhere else AND are comfortable –  these are a bit slimmer in the leg than the 511 pair.

Our BTS must have #2 is screen tees to show their personality. I personally am not a huge fan of most screened tees, however, I like to let them choose their style so we compromise by finding simple, great designed tees. I think what they chose fits them perfectly. This Star Wars tee is my favorite.

Minecraft is a daily conversation at our house so this tee was a definitely a big hit.

Our BTS must have #3 is favorite colors. Can you tell what those are right now?

BTS must have #4 is a backpack for sure! We were surprised at the sale on backpacks when we were at Sears so we actually purchased an extra backpack to fill with items and a new tee to donate.

The money we saved allowed us to purchase a few extras so we were pretty excited to pick out items to give to kids in need. The boys almost took longer choosing the perfect items to donate than they did on themselves!

Our BTS must have #5 is comfort. For my boys it doesn’t matter if the outfit is the best looking outfit they’ve ever seen, if it isn’t comfortable they won’t wear it. Especially on P.E. day!
