Fort Friday

Oh man was this week crazy. Next week will be the same I think. I could retreat to a little fort of my own right about now! Let's see what some All for the Boys friends have been up to in their forts!

Here's a cute 9 month old using his "old" baby gym as a fort structure and exploring a little fort in the Winnie the Pooh play area at Disney!

I HAD to share this dino fort from Click Pray Love from their recent visit to the beach!

I LOVE this true summer fort from Katie Robinson Art - we may have to do something like this this summer!

Here's a new one - a fort made from a harp case! You do what you gotta do when your mom is busy giving music lessons!

And for some inspiration I've found around the web:

I could live in this handmade hideaway from The Handmade Home

What about this Ferrat Pyramid Daybed from Modloft

This is a pretty amazing fireplace/shelter for warming up and storytelling in Norway from Haugen/Zohar

I hope you got inspired to make and play in a fort this week! If you do send your photos to info@allfortheboys.com and I'll share them here!

Fort Friday

Here at All for the Boys we celebrate Fridays with some awesome fort inspiration from around the web. Whether made of sheets, cardboard, wood, or sticks, forts are a place we can go to transport our minds to wherever we want to go. You can play, dream, relax, or create in a fort. Everything is better in a fort!

First off I wanted to share some fun spaces my boys pointed out while on vacation last week!

Now let's see some reader submissions!

This little man recently enjoyed his very first fort! How cute is he?!

These 2 (who remind me of me and my brother) made this fort themselves as a tv viewing sanctuary!

Our friends from OH made an outdoor fort this time. I LOVE the stump stools

These two each made their own PVC framed forts - I love that you can see their personalities in their forts!

Don't forget if you participate in Fort Friday (or make a fort any day of the week) and want to share email me at info@allfortheboys.com

I'll share some vacation photos and stories in a post next week! Have a great weekend and a big huge Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there from our family! Have a great day!
