DIY Cardboard Gifts

I absolutely LOVED this cardboard gas pump and car from Parents.com

It would make a great inexpensive or handmade gift

This kitchen is pretty great too. Both of my boys loved playing with toy food when they were younger. Give them a toy shopping cart full of food and they were happy for a while!

I'd love to know what you're handmaking this year!

2013 Holiday Gift Guide: Toddlers

Toddlers can be tough because their development can vary so much in just a few months to a few years so I tried to pick a variety of things I thought most kids would love.

  1. Anamalz Triceratops - if you haven't seen these toys before they are SO cute and well made with wood and other materials.
  2. Duplo My First Farm - or any Duplo set
  3. Tobbles - fun stackable, weighted spheres
  4. SmartMax - large magnetic building pieces
  5. Tonka Dump Truck - a classic!
  6. Melissa & Doug Deluxe Wooden Pound and Roll - pounding and rolling, what more could you want?

Spread some joy (and sanity) this Holiday season

I try hard to be prepared (it doesn't always happen, but I try) and I love having small gifts ready to go for unexpected guests, neighbors or bored kids at a restaurant. Especially during the holidays! That's why I love these small, ready to go gifts with fun labels.

I made up a couple of fun printables to make it even easier for you to have small gifts at the ready. Or you could plan a whole day of leaving these fun gifts around town for people to find. Wouldn't it put a smile on your kids' face to find one of these lying around?!

Click through to get the printable and see how to make your own PLUS a chance to win a $100 gift card!
