Hey everyone! Welcome to a new feature that I think you'll all love! If you aren't familiar with a linky party it's a place to link up and share your projects each week if you have a blog of your own!

Don't have a blog? It's a place for you to find tons of inspiration without having to go all over the place!

Each week these 3 bloggers and I will pick our favorites to highlight from the last week's party - let's get it started! Let me know if you have any questions!

(For my theme weeks I'll still have a themed post later in the day so you won't miss out on another day!)

Pirate Week: Part 5 - Printed Paper Bag

If you want to have your own pirate party ( or just have cute lunch bags for field trips) I thought I'd share with you my printed pirate bag file.

I printed straight onto the paper bag from my regular printer. To do this you'll need to tape down the bottom and the top together so it doesn't get caught.

Put the bag in your printer according to directions and print! I changed the settings to match the size of my bag in my printer dialog before I printed. I didn't have an issue with any of them. You could use these for popcorn, chips, nuts, goodie bags etc!

If you want to print these pirate bags you can download the files here!

Pirate Week: Part 4 - Viewing Party!

My kids love parties or anything you make into a party. Set up a little snack table and a banner and they are in the party mood! We decided to set up a Pirates viewing party with a fun snack table featuring banana boats for dessert!

I printed on paper bags for popcorn (will share how to and the printable tomorrow)

All the little flags, banner, table scatter is from Minted. I LOVE how their party supplies come ready to go - the toothpick flags came on sticker paper so all you have to do is peel and stick.

Stay tuned for your chance to win $100 to Minted!

To make the banana boat desserts you just need bananas and your choice of toppings. We did Smore's style today but you could add peanut butter, fudge, cookies, sprinkles, etc.

Cut the banana lengthwise without going all the way through. I like to slice it at this point to make it easier to eat.

Load it up with toppings

And wrap up with foil

You can throw it in a campfire or place on the BBQ (obviously kids only with supervision)

Give it enough time for all your toppings to melt and your banana to get nice and warm about 5-7 minutes or so

That's it! A fun snack table to finish off Pirate week. Have you ever had a movie viewing party?

(Disclosure: Party supplies were provided by Minted. All photos, ideas, and opinions are 100% my own!)

My Home Office and a Giveaway!

As many of you know, I work from home. What you might not know is that my "office" is in the front of the house visible for everyone. There is no closing the door on the mess that is my office, and it is always accessible and used heavily by the boys. While it's not always in perfect condition it does need to be somewhat presentable.

One of my bigger problems right now is enough desktop space. The boys like to do homework on the desk but if I have my calendar, a couple bills, and my camera on the desk it seems that there is zero space left. I was SO excited to put up and try out the Wall Manager from Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery, available exclusively from Staples. I actually already use and love some of the Martha Stewart Home Office products in the office and even sometimes in my scrapbooking so I knew I would love the brand.

I'm usually begging Mr. All for the Boys to hang things up for me so they are perfected to his liking (I'm more of a hang it up and eye it sort of person). The way this wall organizer is made is SO smart.

To hang there is a backing with a small amount of adhesive. Use the built in level to get it straight on the wall. The adhesive keeps it in place and you hammer in with included micro nails. SO easy and so awesome. To place multiple squares together you use the alignment marks on each to place them in just the right spot. I can't tell you how excited I was about this feature. I hung them up perfectly completely by myself.

Since I don't have a ton of wall space I chose to keep them to the left of me in a row using different accessories to meet my immediate needs. What's cool is I can change it up whenever I need to!

To the right of where I sit I incorporated the cork board into my little wall gallery. I LOVE getting some of this stuff up on the wall and off the desk, creating a ton more desk space for me and the boys.

The Wall Manager comes in white or black to fit any room. I think this would be perfect for above the boys' desks in their rooms whenever I get around to getting them! Room desks tend to be smaller and this would definitely help!

Wreck It Ralph Party!

We love Wreck It Ralph so natrually I loved this idea for a Wreck It Ralph viewing party from Not Just a Mommy. I think this is a fun way to have a "birthday party" without the stipulation of presents. Kids can watch the movie and participate in fun related activities without having to call it a birthday party. Or just an excuse for a party because I'm always looking for those!

The BEST part is the candy car making!

Check out all the fun details, specifics, and other awesome parties at Not Just a Mommy.
