DIARY OF A WIMPY KID PARTY

When my boys caught a glimpse of this party I was told that I HAD to share in on All for the Boys. My 8 year old has been very into Diary of a Wimpy Kid and my very newly 7 year old is just getting into it himself so they were both enthralled with all the photos from this party.

Pen and Pencil is the blog for Hampton Paper Designs and is where this party was first introduced a couple of weeks ago.

HARRY POTTER CAKE

I shared tons of pictures yesterday of the actual Harry Potter party but we like to have a fun celebration with our family and close family friends as well. As they've gotten older the boys cherish their family SO much, but they are just kids and when their school friends are around, they want to play with their school friends. This gives family a chance to see the birthday boy and him a chance to see them.

I found this tutorial on AlphaMom for making your own confetti popper rockets! 

Makes a mess but lots of fun! Who doesn't love celebrating with confetti?! (Ok of course besides the person that has to clean it up, but that's what a vacuum is for right?!)
