My son picked this out at the store on Saturday and all 4 of us have been playing with it since. I find it getting harder to find cool new gifts for boys as they get older so I thought I’d share this with you! (This is not a payed advertisement we actually went to the store and bought this – this company has no idea who we are LOL!)
It’s called Perplexus. It’s a Ball with a 3D maze inside. You have to twist and turn the ball to get the marble through the maze. There are 3 levels to get through. My 9 year old got through the first and has almost gotten the 2nd, my 7 year old said he did the first but is going to practice it some more 😉
Both Jared and I were playing with it as well. It is a really fun new game/toy and it doesn’t make noise, mess, or require batteries – score!
We’ll definitely be adding this to our toy gift list!

Since we’re talking about marbles my son wanted me to share this amazing marble run the worlds most awesome dad built for his son in his room.
Dad Steve Mosely actually shares the instructions and material list with you on Instructables. I hope this wasn’t a hint for me to make this in his room because I don’t think that will be happening anytime soon. For now we’ll just keep watching this one!

I love this kind of gift – you are right – it's getting harder to find gifts for my 9 year old that aren't video games or sports equipment. One thing he does love are the Rick Riordan books so that might be another idea for this age group
My son is 5 and he loves his. He has been to a number of parties this year, and this is his go-to gift!
This Perplexus Maze Game is so exciting to play. You must have a good control to win it. You have to twist and turn to keep the marble in the maze. It kills boredom, so I think and is a good to y to play when you don't have something to do. It is very challenging to play, let's ee if you can make it.
